Dear all

i'm going to perform a luciferase reporter gene assay. How many time after trasfection cells have to be lisated?
Samebody tell me after 24h, otherone after 72h post trasfection! can samebody give me a good advice?

It depends on the proteins you are using. I do it after 24 hours

I used to wait 72 hours.

we did a time course, 24, 48 and 72 hrs and then decided to stick to 72 hrs.

but it depends on ur experiments.
