Rnase A amount needed - (Aug/26/2006 )

Hi,

Does anyone know what the amount of rnase A is that is required to get rid of rna in a protein sample. I do not know the length of the rna present in my sample, but have a concentration for the protein.

i use 100µg/ml for preps of DNA and get pretty good results. I've never applied it on proteins.
