Must I do MSP focused on survivin gene's exon 1 . - (Aug/09/2006 )

Using MSP, I want to find whether survivin gene's promoter is unmethylated.I have do the reseach for 4 months ,but recently I fond in some published papers they did not test the promoter region of survivin because it has already been shown that the promoter was equally unmethylated in cancer and non-cancer tissues ,so they focused on the exon 1 of the gene.
what shall I do ? How to find the sequence of survivin gene's exon 1 .

you can search for survivin here and it can grapically display the gene structure of survivin, or else you can goto genbank and it would also have it within the entry where the exons start etc.
