vertical agarose gel - (Aug/01/2006 )

I want to perform vertical agarose gel electrophoresis,unfortunately I haven't done before. I read same paper but they don't mention about the agarose recipe they use for this purpose. is it the same with agarose gel used in horizantal electrophoresis? does anyone knows something about it? your answer will really be very useful for me.

hi - i have done agarose gels for protein resolution - i just used the biorad sds page tank and normal agarose recipe.
I thing though - i made a 15% agarose plug to help keep the gel in the tank

thanks for your answer, but in my case I need to monitor the supercoiling state of DNA using agarose gel. That's why, your method seems impossible for my experiment. thanks again for your interest..
