How to dissolve ecdysone? - (Aug/01/2006 )

Hello,
I bought 20-hydroxyecdysone powder from Sigma and I want to use it in Drosophila S2 cells. I would be very happy if anyone could tell me how to dissolve it. On the SIGMA website it is written that the solvent is methanol?

Go to Pubmed and look up the compound in some papers. Most of them will give details of the solvents used.
