HBSS Vs PBS - (Jun/08/2006 )

Hi, i am wondering that what are the differencens betwen HBSS and PBS?

HBS Hepes-buffered saline
PBS Phosphate-buffered saline
TBS Tris-buffered saline

HBSS = Hanks Balanced Salt Solution are they same one ?

you are right Sawaddee ! i think HBSS is an isotonic solution iam not sure if it has buffering properties. PBS definitely is a buffer.
