A shareware program that puts together contigs? - (Jun/05/2006 )

Does anyone know of such a program?

I am using Bioedit to view my sequences and trace files, but I can't use it to automatically put together sequences into contigs (at least as far as I have worked out).

Does anyone know of a free program to do this?

thanks smile.gif

I can recommend you very good software for DNA assembly:
DNA Baser
You can use it free for 60 days.
It is easy to use it and it has a very nice interface (Mac style).
