I'm actually tempted to write this as it wouldn't take more than a day to do, but I'm lacking the will power.

We're going to give it a whirl, so you can piggy back off us with any luck ;-). Thanks for the feedback on the other programs. Our local IT group block a lot of ports so we hadn't given it a full test yet.

Excellent. Post up a new message when you get it working. And good luck.

Hello All,

At last, we have a system set up to run automatic BLAST queries that will send out notifications as new hits are discovered. We have called it 'REBLAST'.

Here's how it works:
You provide us with your e-mail address and give your query a name.
Fill in the details required and hit 'Save'. Once results are ready for you to view, you will be notified via e-mail. Follow the link provided in that email to view the query you had entered, along with its results.

Please follow the links below to access the site. Some things to note:

* Functionality to submit BLAST jobs to ApiDB is currently under development.
* For testing purposes, we will run the queries everyday. (In the help page we have stated that it will run every 7 days).

All feedback is welcome, so any questions/comments/bugs to report - send them through. Please use the 'Contact us' link provided on the REBLAST page.

Best regards,
Ayesha.

Great. I've set up a query and will see how it goes.
