siRNA duplex length, 27mer? - anyone tested that 27mer is better? (Jun/04/2006 )

Hi,

A recent paper from Rossi's group showed that 27 mer siRNA was the most potent species in their EGFP knockdown study. I wonder are you switching to 27mer, instead of 21+2?

Have not tested 27mer yet. But 26mer doesn't work in my hand. 27mer is supposed to be processed by dicer before loading onto Ago.
