storing oligos - (Apr/09/2002 )

Hi.  Just wondering if anyone can tell me what the best way to aliqout and dry oligonucleotide samples for long-term storage is.  I am planning on dissolving them in TE buffer, but I don't know how I should go about drying the solution for -20C storage.

Oligo's (primers) can be disolved either in DEPC water or in TE and stabely stored at -20°C

Typically I distribute my oligos as 100 ul volumes in microfuge tubes, dry them down in a Spin-Vac (Savant) and store the dehydrated oligos at -80 deg.  To use the oligos, I bring them up in 100 ul distilled and store them at 4 deg.
