LI-Cor Software - is there any other software on the market? (May/04/2006 )

hi,

since everybody is using our Li-COR PC-System to evaluate the adjacent sequences I asked myself if therefor it could be used another software on my win xp system. The point is, I have no idea how complicated the result files of a LI-COR system are to be opened by another software.

Does anybody analyze li-cor results on another machine or system? (OSX, Mac OS in general, Windows, Linux, Unix)

I analyse my results from a LI-COR 4200IR using GE healthcare's ImageQuant TL software.

How ever I do not run sequencing experiments but rather DNA footprinting experiments so my needs may differ from yours.
