electroelution of protein fromsds-page for use in immunization - (May/02/2001 )

How many (volume) protein we have to run in SDS-PAGE, if we want to electroelution that protein and use it as good antigen?

Have you ever tried immunizing with nitrocellulose strips. It worked for me pretty fine. After blotting I cut the band of interest and homogenize it in pure DMSO (usually 10 mcg per shot)
