anti-pkc - (Apr/20/2006 )

Hello, I,m working with the pkc antibody of cell signalling. Is this antibody good? I think it don´t recognize my protein.

Thanks

Don't know about that particular antibody but I use Upstate Ltd. anti-PKCalpha antibody and it's fine.

if your protein is labeled, did you get an ab that recognizes the end where the label is tacked? that can interfere sometimes?

Which isoforms are you working with and what applications are you using it with? also do you have enough PKC expressed to start with?

Thanks for your help. The protein is labeled near the PKC site. It may be the problem.

I want to study the phosphorylation of the protein and I don´t think the amount of expressed PKC be the problem.

pdt: it´s a polyclonal antibody
