microbial research - (Apr/10/2006 )
hi all
i'm fishing around and looking for UK institutions that specialise in the research of microbial technologies in the course of some research i'm carrying out. i'm thinking about technologies such as microbial fuel cells, environmental remediation, microbial robotics technologies etc etc - but any microbe/technology based activity is interesting.
does anyone know of any such institutions and what kind of research is going on?
thanks
andy

Try Norwich.
The University of East Anglia has strong Microbiology and Environmental Science depts.
The John Innes Centre and the Institute of Food Research (both 5-10 minutes walk from UEA) have excellent Microbiology departments.
