can invitrogen pcDNA4.0/Hismax + my insert be induced using IPTG in baterial (BL21-codonplus) ?

Hi,

I am not sure here but I doubt so. This is because pCDNA is a mammalian expression vector and I dont think it contains any IPTG inducible region.
