Removal of SDS - (Nov/16/2001 )

How to remove the SDS in the protein solution after electroelution from the SDS-PAGE?Is there any non-SDS elution buffer which works as effective as SDS elution buffer when doing electroelution?Is there any harmful effect if SDS is present in the protein solution when doing X-ray crystallization?

i used to elute protein using Bio Rad electroelutor. i believe you can use elution buffer without SDS half way through your elution.

Is it possible to make crystalization with denatured protein?
I think you should use native condition when you separating protein...
