Digoxigenin labeling ans substrate - (Mar/09/2006 )

Hi,
For an in situ pcr , i am to do a dig labeling of the probe, I was thinking of pcr-dig labelling kit (Roche), but in the catalogue chemiluminiscence detection is recommended.
Can i go for colorimetric detection or should i use chemiluminiscence detection? Hope someone can give me a suggestion, Thank you in advance,

of course you can use colorimetric detection. it's just that chemiluminescence is more sensitive and can be stripped for reprobing.
