calculation of transformation efficiency - (Mar/07/2006 )

this is jay...
i m just having problem wiht my molecular project.
i could not calculate the the transformation efficiency and its unit.
the total plasmid DNA used was 10ul,.....DNA conc was 0.08ul/ml...........total colonies formed=256
spreaded on the plate was...........100ul.....transfromation soln was 250ml,,,,,,,,,
