anybody knows about chloroplast microsatellite? especially banana chloroplast microsatellite, anybody knows pls help. i had designed few primers using rice's chloroplast genome but failed;only monomorphic band.

well Why you design primer from rice?
these two(rice and banana) are not reletive in phylogeny tree.
