Searching a textbook for my anniversary - drug design, interface chemistry/biology, the future of medicine (Jan/24/2006 )
Hi,
my anniversary will be on march19th
i would like to buy a book, a big textbook, a beautiful one
i'm interesting in cancer, biochemistry, but my favourite is on interface between chemistry and biology like drug discovery or rational drug design, the future of medicine or even the integration of computer and mathematics in life science
have you some good new references?
thank you!

subscribe to Nature.
I prefer reading reviews in major research journals (i.e. cell, nature, science, etc.) to purchasing textbooks.
I can't really think of any articles offhand, but I can tell you that it pertains to my research (membrane proteins).

Subscribing to a journal is probably the best idea... its more current, lasts for longer - a year or so atleast, and since the information comes in small doses, its usually more likely that you will read it!
wider array of topics covered as well!
thank you for your suggestions
i will subscribe to one of these great journals

Ahh, hope it's not too late.
I took a bioorganic chemistry class last semester and the book was great... even described the chemistry behind Viagra! I can't remember the author or title, but I can get that info for you if you're interested.
