Anyone used "APOPercentage Apoptosis Assay" before? - (Jan/06/2006 )

Has anyone used this assay kit before? if yes, how clear and strong apoptotic labelled cells do you find? easy to use? any tips on this assay?

Yes. Using a phase contrast microscope, labeling was clearly red and pretty well marked. Very easy to use on cells which do not need pre coating...

I've actually tried this assay thousand times and I haven't manage to get this rather simple assay to work.
I either get a very localised region of purple-red cells in an area of coverslips (cells were not treated with anything) or none at all in cells treated with either nothing or cytotoxic agent.

What type of cells did you test your apopercentage assay on?
