help - need EDTA-free cell detachment solution. any suggestions?

if not try to aspirate all the medium and hit firmly the plate
you may recover the detached cells with fresh medium

You could try sloughing, although it may not be suitable for your cell type.

I use it for High Five cells. It kills ~5-10%.

how small are your wells? what about a scraper?

Some trypsin's come with EDTA, but others come without it...
