Down-regulation of house-keeping genes in colon tissue of DSS-fed mice - (Dec/21/2005 )

DSS was used to induce colitis in mice. RT-PCR was then performed to determine gene expression in colon tissue. Expression of two constitutively expressed genes, namely, b-actin and hprt, was absent in the samples of DSS-treated mice whilst the expression of these two genes in control mice was normal. I would like to know if anyone has similar experience?
