Photosynthesis - (Dec/21/2005 )
1) An algae is illuminated in the presence of 14-Carbon dioxide for 15s. Illumination of the algae continues for a further 1 min after all the carbon dioxide present has been removed. At this point, a compound is identified on the x-ray film
2) Another algae is illuminated in the presence of 14-carbon dioxide for 15s and then placed in the dark still in the presence of 14-carbon dioxide. At this point, a compound is identified on the x-ray.
For both experiments, what is the compound that is formed and why only one of the three compounds is labelled?
Thanks
for both experiments, the compound formed is LODYH
what's LODYH?
