Apoptag Red for Flow Cytometry - (Dec/19/2005 )

Hi everyone,

I´ll try to establish a method for dectection of apoptosis by using the ApopTag Red® - Kit (byChemicon). Is there anybody who used this kit and did the detection by flow cytometry afterwards? Could you provide some suggestions about a staining protocol? There are of course some protocols in the kit´s manual, but they don´t cover staining for flow cytometry.

Hey Bastian, I'm not familliar with that kit, is it an antibody based kit? I would just use the staining protocol they sugest. As long as your apoptotic cells are glowing when you run them as your live ones are not it should work for flow.
