Does DEPC interference with sybr green fluorescence - (Nov/30/2005 )

Was wondering if depc will quench sybr green fluorescence???[size=3]

the residual DEPC left in DEPC-treated, autoclaved water (for RNA work, I assume) should not make a difference when you get to the real-time step, if you DEPC-treat with the standard protocol

I use DEPC-treated water for all steps in my qPCR and have never seen evidence of SYBR quenching???
