How do i detect the presence of SDS in my electroeluted protein sample?

Why do you need to detect SDS in your samples ?

I  am doing a macrophage proliferation assay and i need to make sure that i have gotten all the SDS out of my protein sample so that it doesnt affect my results.

I am unsure of detection of SDS, but there are methds around.
You may simply just clean up your prep before hand, using chromatography or acetone precipitation, and just asssume you have SDS present.  The Konigsberg method is recommended:
