ssDNA storage - How long can you store ssDNA and at what temp? (Nov/15/2005 )

I have a sample of single stranded cDNA (from total bacterial mRNA).

Should i store it at -70?
How long will it be stable for?

We keep RT product in our lab at -80deg and use it for several months at least.

I think the freezing/unfreezing of cDNA will contribute to degradation as much as anything.

I would recommend -20 in TE or something like that...should be good for a few months, at least...you probably won't want to use it after that because of possible contamination.
