pH meter - (Nov/06/2005 )

Hi every one,
one thing which i wish to know that why do we use 3M KCl in pH meter not any other salt solution?

Hi!
I think that we use this solution because it is related to the electrode that is inside the pH-meter. The pH-meter has an internal reference electrode of Ag/AgCl saturated with KCl.
