what is the formula of Warburg-Christian equation??
and what does it used for???

i don't have the formular at hand, but i guess google will help on that. the idea is, that you measure absorption at 260nm (nucleic acid) and 280nm (protein) of a sample. by comparison a formular (Warburg-Christian) was developed, that will give you the conncentration of nucleic acid and protein in that sample.
this is particular useful, if you want to judge if a nucleic acid sample is free of proteins.

The formula is Protein concentration (mg/ml)= (1.55*A2 80)-(0.76*A 260)
