PMA vs m-CSF - Does anybody knows? (Nov/05/2005 )
Dear all:
Do you know what is the difference in terms of the mechanisms of activation of monocytes by PMA or mCSF?
Thanks!

PMA: "Phorbol esters are functional analogs of diacylglycerol (DAG) that have been used to stimulate MAPK signaling via insulin-independent pathways."
M-CSF: described in:
"Transcriptional program of mouse osteoclast differentiation governed by the macrophage colony-stimulating factor and the ligand for the receptor activator of NFkappa B."
