Makin ATP solution - Using comercial ATP or make it in the lab? (Nov/04/2005 )

Hi every one!
The price of comercial ATP solutions (100mM) is quite expensive but Ultera pure ATP powder is very cheap!!
I wounder if I can make ATP solution in the lab by dissolving it just in water? I need ATP for phosphorylation of my oligoes using PNK before cloning.

if the ratio commercial:home made is up than 3 i would say it's better to buy pre-prepared.
