how exactly are events stored in the brain

The computer works like the human brain. Vice verse, we can say the brain works just the computer. So when we store imformation in the brain, just as we store imformation on the memory medium, the imformation stimulate the brain sensor nerve, and maybe some proteins or other chemical compounds are converted from one state into another, and the information is stored in this form.

... and that's the tricky question ... they have to be stored somehow. but the actual mechanism is still unknow. maybe even the substance which stores the information is still unknow to us.
