nothern-western protocol - (Oct/27/2005 )
hi, I am looking for a protocol for RNA blotting with antibody. I want to blot Br-U labeled RNA with BrdU antibody. Have anybody tried to do so and what membrane and buffer could work better for such application? Also is it possible with semi-dry transfer?
Thank you for any tricks.

hi
i've not done that, but for nucleic acids, nylon membranes are recommended. Semi dry transfert should be used for acrylamide gels. I've never try it for agarose gel. (for which i use capillary tranfsert)

Thank you very much. I should try. It just I don't like a capilary transfert in general and though that semi-dry should work.
Spasibo bol'shoe.
