total RNA isolatin - (Oct/26/2005 )

hi every body

i isolate total RNA from plant leaf by trizol.but when i runned RNA on 1% agarose gel ,i just got 1 band!
i dont know what is the resone.
is there anybody who can help me?

what is the concentration? what is the 260/280 ratio?

good time.the concentration of the RNA is 0.88 micro gram /micoliter.and the 260/280 :1.601

Hi everybody:
I am also going to isolate RNA from a cultured cell. Seems Trizol is the most common kit for RNA isolation. Is that really good and the most cheap kit?
