Gene Expression Data - Looking for gene expression data (Oct/17/2005 )

Hi,

Do you know of any databases that provide open access to gene expression data? There's a nice list in the siphs reference at the siphs gene expression database list.

I'm looking for more locations and don't really know how to go about finding them aside from asking colleagues.

There are many types of expression data such as EST, SAGE, microarray... The biggest depository of such data is NCBI's

You can either browse the data or do you own analysis after downloading them via FTP
SAGE and SAGE FTP site

Gene Expression Omnibus and GEO FTP site

Also the CANCER GENOME ANATOMY PROJECT is a good source of browsing expression data.
