Hi!
Can yeast plasmid be used as a template to fish out a gene through PCR? Which is the best working option-Genomic DNA or Genomic library?We are not getting results with Genomic library. Should we try whole genome with PCR?

You may even use a colony PCR to amplify DNA from yeast. Maybe your primers could be optimized. Can you amplify something but the wrong size or there is no product at all?
