Does RNase keep activity in the 50%DMSO - (Oct/11/2005 )

Below is content about the RNase activity. Could somebody make sure that RNase still have activity in 50% DMSO? Thanks a lot.

"Hi, I have looked everywhere but can't find out if DMSO destroys RNase and if so at what concentration? I am testing DMSO solutions under RNase free conditions so they need to be clear of RNAse!

I have one protocol that uses RNase A in 70% DMSO.

Activity is likely decreased but it will still be there.

I know DMSO decreases Taq polymerase activity with concentrations above 10%.

Just my guess. RNase is super-resilient.
