does anyone know a reference for the '2 standard curve method' that can be used in the data analysis section with the real time pcr machine from corbett (rotorgene 3000) ?

There is a paper by Larionov et al which describes a 2 standard curve method. Worth looking at. They also give an option for amplitute normalization - I haven't made my mind up about that yet, but am prepared to give a go. You can get Excel spreadsheets to make calculations easier. How similar to the Rotorgene calculations I'm not sure.
