May I ask immunologists or cell biologists here why and what the advantages to use mouse embryonic fibroblast for experiment? Except they can expand their colony just like cell line (however, they also have limited division number), what the point to use MEF as the model for experiment in immunology? Thank you so much!

Homework?? Think about what similarities/differences MEFs might have with a living mouse, and what advantages there are in having cells rather than the animal running around.
