What would happen? sequencing question - (Aug/18/2009 )
What would happen if a sequencing reaction was left O/N in the PCR block at RT? Would this affect the trace?

Considering that I leave my sequencing products ON at 15° C without observing any decrease in trace quality, I think it shouldn't really matter. Might of course be dependent on your used chemicals, I use ABI's BigDye Terminator 1.1 for reference.

Ok its using big Dye 3.1 if that helps
