Can I still use 4-year-old Dig-labeled Marker ? - (Aug/13/2009 )
Hi there,
I am new to this forum and to Molecular Biology. And I just have a quick queston. Can I still use 4-year-old Dig-labeled Marker ?
It supposed to be sitting somewhere in our -20C fridges. Haven't found it yet. I am thinking if it's even worthy of trying to find it.
Thanks a lot,
Julia

What sort of marker? Oligonucleotides should be fine, but proteins may not be.

It's probably fine.

Thank you guys for answering me. It's oligo marker, so I am hoping to use it.
Have a nice day!

Oh, same case over here. I had a dig-labelled marker back dated to year 2004, now still working fine. It's also in the -20C storage. So, I guess, yours will be working fine as well.
