HELP: gene with intron expressed in Pichia - (Aug/02/2009 )

Hi,everyone.Thank you for concerning my question.I got my gene from the plant genome and dont know the intron-extron boundary.Can I transform the Pichia expression system directly with the intron contained gene ? Thank you in advance.

Probably not. The splicing signals in pichia and plants are quite different.
