Charcoal Dextran Stripping (TGFb) - (Jul/24/2009 )

Hi Guys,

I was curious I've been trying to find out more information on what molecules are removed in the charcoal dextran stripping process and am wondering if growth factors like TGFb are completely removed or if it is just reduced. Does anyone happen to know?

Thanks

CDS primarily removes lipophilic substances, e.g. steroids. However, growth factors and proteins can be reduced but to the best of my knowlege should still be present. Did you try searching Pubmed?
