Neutral loss Experiment, Acetaminophen Turnover - Problem with turnover in acetaminophen by microsomes (Jul/22/2009 )
Having a problem seeing any turnover in Acetominophen in a neutral loss experiment.
Acetominophen incubuated with microsomes + 3 mixes
mix 1- GSH + MgCl2 +NADPH regenerating system
mix 2- GSH + MgCl2
mix 3- NADPH regenerating system
( no turnover is expected in mix 2)
Verapmil was also run with the same stock solutions and turnover was evident
What could be the cause of no to little turnover in Acetaminophen?

Hi, possibly an irreversible inhibition with microsome binding?
