inheritance models, especially dominant and recessive - (Jul/15/2009 )

Hii,
i've a problem. for a study, i want to explained one SNP (A->G) or differance two allel (A and B) with inheritance models. these are co-dominant, especially dominant and recessive models. How can i do it, please help

;) Let me answer myself!

each of SNP or allels (A and B) we can think like independent event.in the other word,
Occurrence of two alleles of a SNP in the same individual are two independent events.eg.Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium

therefore, statistically create two groups

Suppose that the SNP we are looking at has 2 alleles, A and B

Select allele A to model. The following is true:

1. A recessive model is coded as 1 for the homozygous AA genotype and 0 otherwise (i.e. AA = 1, AB, BB = 0)

2. A dominant model is coded as 1 for any genotype that contains an A allele and 0 otherwise (i.e. AB, AA = 1, BB = 0)

Now suppose that we select allele B. The following is true:

3. A recessive model is coded as 1 for the homozygous BB genotype and 0 otherwise (i.e. BB= 1, AB, AA = 0)

4. A dominant model is coded as 1 for any genotype that contains an B allele and 0 otherwise (i.e. BB, AB = 1, AA = 0)
