Can you filter sterilize cyclodextrin? - (Jul/06/2009 )
Hey everyone,
Just a quick question, I have to dissolve a drug in cyclodextrin before I treat my cells, and was just wondering if the cylcodextrin solution could be filter sterilized prior to drug addition? Any help would be much appreciated

Should be able to as far as I can tell - it is just used to make other compounds water soluble and is based on starch.

The only filters we have is 0.2um so I'm worried I'll lose the cyclodextrin if I do filter it...
