Electrocompetent bacteria - (Jun/18/2009 )

Hello!

I am going to buy some electrocompetent cells (bacteria) to make a DNA library. I need to have a very high transformation effiency.
Can somebody recomend me a good brand (such as Invitrogen, etc), and tell me why is it better than the others?

I already know how to prepare them in the lab, so I am not looking for a protocol, I just want some advice based on your experience for the commercial ones.

Thank you!!

I've used the Invitrogen TOP10 chemically competent cells with the PCR4TOPO vector to make libraries - you get LOTS of colonies - at least several hundred per rxn if you plate the whole rxn. Maybe their electrocompetent cells are good too?
