hi all..is there any software that gives clear picture wether my insert will be taken up by specific vector..plz help

What do you mean? A plasmid drawing program or something that predicts if an insert will go into a plasmid?? If you want the predictive thing, then there is no easy way to do it...Any vector is capable of taking up an insert, but how it does will depend on how you are generating your insert (PCR, digestion, subcloning, etc.) and what type of vector you have (TA cloning, standard, gateway etc.).

If you want a basic program, I use ApE as it is free and very easy to use.
