2 way ANOVA help so confused - help (Apr/27/2009 )
I’m having trouble writing my statistical analysis for my
research paper. I know I need to set up a 2-way ANOVA test, but how
would I go about writing this or setting the test up without having
preformed the experiment? Can you guide me in the right direction?
The variables I’m testing are: Concentration and duration

This is what I have but what else can I write?
Experimental data were entered into a spreadsheet according to treatment and entered into SPSS for statistical analysis. A 2-way ANOVA was used to identify significant differences between the groups or any interaction effects. I used a cutoff value of P=0.05

What you have written is fine, although you did change person for the last sentence - ideally your would continue using the 3rd person, so it would be "A cutoff value of P=0.05" Incidentally, do you realise that 1 time in 20 your analysis will be wrong with this P value? Not that it is a bad thing, but if you can make it more stringent, you should.
